About the Artist
Travis Weaver is a Fine Watercolorist and has been traveling about the world and living at sea in his tiny sailboat home with his wife and two small children for the past 12 years. He served in the US Navy, then went on study and earn his BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Travis is an American Impressionist Painter and Tonalist. He spends all his time out in nature painting, and believes people need to live in the real world, not the digital, to connect with nature and remember what it means to be human. He hopes his works inspire these ideals, and to get people to walk outside again to appreciate the beauty that surrounds them. And this just might lead people to start taking care of the home they live on.
